Monkey Software is the developer of Australia’s number one practice management software – Optomate Premier. Bluewave is Monkey Software’s preferred computer network provider and the two have partnered to develop the V-Server which provides access to your Optomate system on a virtual server via the Internet.
The V-Server offers pay-by-the-month access to a fully maintained and unique Windows Server running your Optomate and other associated financial and diagnostic practice software. Located in a secure data centre facility your V-Server will store all your practice computer files (eg. retinal images, referral letters, MYOB data and Office files), will run your lens ordering software (HOYA, Zeiss and Essilor), link your Optomate to your HICAPS terminal, backup all your data and replace the traditional server hardware taking up space in your practice.
You can use all your existing computers and your standard broadband internet connection to log in to the V-Server from your single or multi-site practice, from home and conferences as well as on laptops or iPads. With no setup fees it’s easy to get started so why not move from the world of computer hassles to the peace of mind of the V-Server.
Optical Equipment Linking
The V-Server also allows for the linking of the results from advanced optometric devices and associated capture/review software to Optomate. This includes equipment from Carl Zeiss, Medmont, Optical Manufacturers, Optimed, Designs for Vision and others. Equipment includes fundus and slit lamp cameras, OCTs, Visual Fields, Auto-refractor heads, digital dispensing units, frame tracers and lens ordering software as well as Medicare and HICAPs claiming. Bluewave is able to setup these links as part of the V-Server migration process at no additional charge.
Centralised Optical Test and Image Management
Bluewave is the Third Party Approved Computer Network provider for Carl Zeiss Australia and that partnership has developed a server-based system specifically designed to host the FORUM Image Management Solution including the ability to link Zeiss FORUM to the Optomate Practice Management System.
Optical Industry Partnerships
Bluewave has strong relationships with the equipment vendors in the optical industry and has experience in implementing computer network solutions to allow optical equipment to link with the Optomate practice management system.
